Do I need to download anything?
No. Orbi is a web app: you go to app.orbi.care in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen. It sits there like any other app, without taking up space and without going through an app store.
My mom doesn't use apps. Will it still work?
Yes. Orbi is designed for the family and the caregiver, not to force the older person to use a phone. The caregiver does three things: taps a button, sends a voice note or snaps a photo of a prescription. If they can use WhatsApp, they can use Orbi.
What does the Free plan include?
Up to 3 people in the circle, the daily schedule and appointments. Free forever, no card needed. When the family wants more — the chat, voice notes, tracking caregivers' hours and pay — there's the Family plan, a single payment per circle, not per person.
I live in a different country from my mom. Does it work?
Yes, just as well. Same circle, same schedule, same notes, from Madrid, Rome, Miami or wherever you are. Being far away doesn't have to mean being left out.
How do I pay, and how do I cancel?
By card, right in the app. Canceling is just as easy: one button, no phone calls, no runaround, and no annual contract.
Who can see the circle's information?
Only the people the family invited, each with their own role and permissions. ID documents can only be seen by their owner. The information belongs to the family, not to us.
How do I invite the caregiver?
In the circle's People section you generate a code, choose what role she'll have and send it to her on WhatsApp. She pastes it into the app and you confirm. No one joins the circle unless you accept them. The code expires in one hour and can only be used once.
Can I keep track of the caregiver's hours?
Yes, and it's one of the most-used features. The hours of every shift and what she was paid are recorded, so at the end of the month there are no misunderstandings and no math done from memory.
Does it work for a senior care home?
Yes. The care home logs each resident's day and each family sees only what concerns their loved one. Pricing is per resident, per month, with no minimum: one circle for each person.
Do caregivers pay anything?
No, and they never will. Caregivers and nurses use Orbi for free, build their profile with their training and professional license, and families find them.
